Although I was born in Ottawa, Ontario, I was raised in the small town of Valleyfield, Qc. As a young girl, I remember walking to the corner store just a couple blocks away from my house, with my weekly allowance of $1 in hand, excited at the prospect of my next purchase. I loved going there. The store clerk was always kind and happy to see me, and the colorful candy display always drew me in. Looking back, I realize that it was that "excited happy feeling" that brought me back every single week. I knew that I could count on that great experience every time!  Little did I know, this was part of what we now call "branding". A great experience coupled with a great product.

Although I grew up wanting to be either an artist, a cartographer or a graphic artist, I ended up in marketing. After more than 10 years in the field, I can say for certainty that I am in the right place. I thoroughly enjoy the creative, ever-changing nature of marketing.  No two companies, products or ads are ever the same. Marketing requires constant innovation and it's a challenge that I am very excited to take on.

Creativity has always been at the heart of everything I do. When I am being creative, I am in my happy place, in my own bubble, and the world around me disappears. I always seem to have some crafty project on the go but at some point, you run out of space to house it all. So, as a means to "make room for more", I attended a few craft fairs in my area hoping to sell a few things. By the end of that fall/winter season, I realized I had the makings of a real business on my hands.  In 2013, I founded WIZARD CRAFT ACADEMY, a Montreal-based company that creates handmade magic wands and other magical inspired items. It was the best decision I ever made!

These last few years have taught me a lot about running a small business from scratch, what needs to be put into place and how to persuade customers to keep buying from you. I turned my passion into a business, and now, with the birth of WINGS MARKETING, I  want to pass that knowledge on to others looking to turn their passion into a full-time business.

There is something magical and exciting about spending time doing what you are deeply passionate about. For some, it's crunching numbers, woodworking, event planning but for me, marketing sparks an inner fire. It's the perfect combination of strategy, creativity, analytical thinking and persuasion.  I love the  challenge of  conceptualizing a winning marketing strategy tailored to a business that will win customer's hearts.

If you don't build your dreams, someone will hire you to build theirs.

This is your time. Let's begin!
